Traces is a new application that allows users to take photographs, apply filters, and place them at locations around the world for their friends to find. Once a user arrives at a location where a Trace has been left for them, they receive a notification containing the Trace.



Traces can also be made public; this allows users to view all of the Traces that have been left nearby.



So whether you want to leave something for someone special, share a joke with friends, or simply leave someone a reminder...it's up to you!





NB - iOS 8 or newer is required for push notifications. iOS 7 users can still send and receive Traces, but will not receive a push notification when discovering a new Trace.



NB - Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
