Price: Free, Version: 3.0.73 (iTunes)

Description:

This app enables users to securely send and receive high-resolution images and forms, including adding text, inserting color photos, and signing documents.

A connection to the service is requred to authenticate as well as transmit and receive documents securely. Multipage documents can be assembled and previewed on the device before sending. Note: if the primary goal is to send and receive conventional faxes, download Biscom Mobile Fax instead.

To successfully use the Biscom Mobile Fax app, the following must be in place:

- Login to FAXCOM Suite Version 10.1.0.5 or higher (10.0.1.22 or higher is recommended) with web services enabled.

- A FAXCOM Server – whether on premises or hosted by the FAXCOM Anywhere cloud-based fax service

For Apple Testers Use Only:

When the app is first run, you must enter a server name and user account credentials to access the features of the application:

Server: biscommobile.biscom.com

Your user name: apple_test

Your password: Biscom123

To send images, just tap the "Send Fax" icon on the bottom menu bar, enter the recipient address of:

cmackenzie.ipfax.demo.com (to send to us)

and/or

appletest.ipfax.demo.com (to send to yourself)

Note: these are not low-quality black and white faxes. The recipient will receive high-resolution color images, hence the term "HD" in the name of the product. However, if you enter a fax number as a recipient, it will send a standard fax to a fax machine.

Add a subject and a memo.

Decide whether or not you want a cover page by choosing the position of the slider.

Then tap the "take" picture button, snap a photo, tap use photo. Repeat as many times as you like. You can also go to other aps and open-in with PDF, TIF, JPG files. Rearrange the order in the preview section. Then send when you are ready.

In a few minutes, you can check your inbox for the pictures. Open them, edit them, attach them, pass them along etc.

In a typical configuration, these images are sent to a server address and are retained and indexed by a company.
