What is the system?

The Mente™ Mobile system is a standard course of Sonified Neurofeedback therapy, tailored specifically to individual patients. By connecting AAT Research’s Mente™ EEG device, the mobile app analyzes the components of an EEG output from a user and then converts these waves into music used for therapy.

The new and improved Mente™ 2nd generation features:

- 4 EEG channels (instead of the 2 channels in 1st generation),

- Wi-Fi connection (instead of Bluetooth) and

- A new cloud system that tracks the user's progress and generates reports in real time and from a variety of operating systems

- Real-time and tailor-made therapy sessions for each individual user.



How does the system work?

The Mente™ headband picks up minute brainwaves emitted by the brain. The brainwaves are transmitted to the device and the app interprets the waves, processes them and converts them into musical sounds. These musical sounds are then played back to the user through headphones.



How to set up the system?

If you require assistance to install or make use of the app in conjunction with the headband, you might want to consult the manual included in the Mente™ package. A soft copy version of the manual is available for download from the Mente™ Official Website (http://ift.tt/1ogCFHZ). Simply visit the website, login using the account details (use the activation card, also included in the package) head to the manuals section and press on the icon to download the .pdf document.
