The McCarthy Music iPad app is custom designed to work with the McCarthy Music Illuminating Piano, the easiest and most engaging way to learn to play the piano. It may work with other keyboards or MIDI controllers, connected either wirelessly over Bluetooth, or directly connected via USB (using the Apple Camera Adapter Kit).



Features of this version of our app include:

* Custom built score rendering system, featuring different levels of zoom. Make the notes for your sheet music as large or as small as you want.



* Integration of the new Apple MIDI Bluetooth Device code, allowing fully wireless connection with the McCarthy Music Illuminating Piano.



* Themed software, allowing you to choose from one of four different graphical themes for the app.



* Over 950 fully licensed pieces of digital sheet music available for in-app purchasing, and storage in the McCarthy Music Cloud.



* Real time scoring and feedback as you play through a song. Persistent data keeps track of how you’re doing over time, and real-time scoring lets you know how you’re doing on just the current performance.



* Each app installation supports many users per installation – each user can have a profile, their own scoring and achievements, themes and settings.
