SeedStar™ Mobile is a high definition planter monitoring solution from John Deere that helps growers better understand their planter performance. SeedStar Mobile works with the GreenStar™ 3 2630 Display and compatible SeedStar software on the planter to enhance the in-cab planting experience. SeedStar Mobile wirelessly sends the planting information from the planter to the iPad Air®2 inside the cab of the tractor. The iPad displays the planter information with high definition, row-by-row maps that make it easier for the operator to understand the planter performance.



SeedStar Mobile displays and documents the following planter information:



• Actual Population

• Target Population

• Singulation

• Seed Spacing CV

• Gauge Wheel Margin

• Applied Down Force

• Ride Quality

• Variety

• Ground Speed



While in the field, SeedStar Mobile can also wirelessly transfer the planting information to the Operations Center in MyJohnDeere by utilizing the cellular capabilities of the iPad. The planting data in the Operations Center can be utilized for future reference to help growers more efficiently plan and manage their farming operation.
