This "Barton Creek Map App" provides an essential companion to Austin's premier urban wilderness park -- the Barton Creek Greenbelt. The greenbelt begins at Austin's world famous Barton Springs, located in Zilker Park just across Lady Bird Lake from downtown, and extends upstream nearly eight miles. Miles of trails provide a life time of easy access running, hiking, swimming, bird watching, and other wilderness recreation opportunities. Published by the Save Our Springs Alliance, the Barton Creek Map App also connects greenbelt recreationists with the natural history of Barton Creek, Barton Springs, and the central Texas Edwards Aquifer region. The map app also connects visitors and locals alike to the Save Our Springs Alliance's

conservation advocacy, volunteer opportunities and current events.



SOS Alliance is Austin's leading water watchdog, working since 1992 to protect the land, water, and endangered wildlife of Barton Springs and the Texas Hill Country.
