This mobile application starts at the market square of Poperinge, and takes you along a number of special WWI locations in and around the city. The application gives you a few suggestions to start exploring, but you can also choose your own POIs (points of interest).

The starting point is the Groote Beweging. Poperinge was a city where you could literally walk on heads (in Flemish cobbles are called 'kinderkoppen': babies' heads) for four years. The traffic on the roads of entry and in the city centre is busy busy busy. Streets are literally driven and trampled underfoot.
