To get the best OCR results from your scans make sure to use a good quality source image. The Quality, resolution and lighting of the source image is of paramount importance when it comes to achieving good results.
Older devices can give poorer results due to the inferior quality of the camera. Be sure to read the dedicated OCR User Guide in the Ocular app for some helpful tips and advice.
